Sponsor Letter Proposal Examples Evaluation Fair Calendar

Though some students may complete their Capstone projects on a different schedule, the typical calendar of Capstone events includes the following activities and timeline:

For those looking to graduate in Summer 2008 (August), here is the confirmed timeline.

Capstone 2008

February 16: Capstone Kick-Off Luncheon; meet potential sponsors, collaborators
February 18-23: Contact potential sponsors, begin preliminary proposal drafts
March 1: Submit first drafts of proposal ideas. Submit via online form at Capstone Proposal Forms
March 14: Final project proposal due - submit online
from March 14 to completion Participate in Capstone Seminars and advising activities; work on capstone and post process/deliverables to zonorus or to an area accessible by (initially) your Program Director and the Academic Director and (once assigned) by your Advisor.
March 31: Submit final sponsor letter (if applicable) to your Program Director with a duplicate copy to the Academic Director
April 11: Component Map due to Advisor and Program Director
May 2: All Advisors and reporting protocols confirmed.
June 14: Lunch seminar - Beyond Bullet Points - Powerful Presentations
July 12: Capstone Fair (early evening) - date tbc.
July 13 - Presentation date Prepare final presentation; post final deliverables; prepare archived copy (a CD of your work)
July 28 - August 2: Present final Capstone Defense / Presentation. Presentations will be coordinated according to student numbers. Classes will be held for all students.
August 16: Graduation
