New Gallery at the GC
 | KP Peterson helps with installation of new gallary |
We've put the finishing touches on our new gallery.
The gallery is located on the first floor in the space formerly occupied by the USDA. Thanks to the volunteer efforts of Grad Center employees Kelly Fletcher, Kathy Urffer, and KP Peterson, this inviting space has been completely refurbished. Visitors will now find a changing display of works of art in a comfortable, brightly lit environment that allows the pieces to be fully appreciated.
Currently on display is the astounding /microMODERN /- an exhibit of art in science. Sponsored by Chroma Technology Corp, /microMODERN / features formerly microscopic images created for research by some of the world's top scientists re-formatted as photographic works of art. Most of the images were obtained via CCD cameras showing fluorescence microscopy. Viewed in this enlarged presentation, they capture the goal of all great art - our re-thinking the world around us.
When you're dropping by the Center, make time to enjoy this terrific addition to our community.
