
Non Profit Management Certificate to be offered this Spring!

Starting March 7th, Marlboro College Graduate Center and Woodbury College will be offering a series of trainings in Brattleboro and Montpelier, Vermont, which will lead to a Certificate in Nonprofit Management.
The workshops will be held on ten Fridays between March and mid-June.
Face-to-face sessions will run from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
The cost of the trainings is $500.
The cost for United Way of Windham County member agency employees is $400.

United Way of Windham County is also offering ten scholarships of $250 to applicants working for non-profits in Windham County based on a statement of intent and perceived need.
* Under the terms of the grant funding, non-profit organizations outside of Vermont are eligible for the program at a cost of $1,250, however preference will be given to in-state organizations.

Topic 3 - Strategic planning and evaluation - instructor Jim LeFevre (Manager of Communications and Outreach, Global Learning)
Meeting dates: April 18 + May 2
Topic 4 - Fundraising and marketing - instructor Christine Graham (read her online resume)
Meeting dates: May 9 + May 23
Topic 5 - Financial Management - instructor Church Hindes (Business People of Vermont profile)

These trainings are funded by a grant from the Workforce Education and Training Fund (WETF) through the Vermont Department of Labor. The WETF is one of three workforce development programs for which the 2007 Legislature appropriated funding.
