A Community of Learners

We provide numerous opportunities for our faculty to refine and discuss their teaching practices. An appointment as a faculty member at the Marlboro College Graduate Center obligates a commitment to ongoing professional development and sharing of best practices.

In January 2006, we established the Center for Teaching and Learning at the Graduate Center. Via the CTL, we collaborate, share ideas and discuss student feedback in face-to-face sessions and online in FirstClass - our between-class environment.

At Marlboro College Graduate Center, we also have instructors sharing experiences using WIKIs and Open Source systems like Moodle. Podcasting at Marlboro College Graduate Center came through an instructor suggestion - suggested one month, implemented the next.

As a faculty member you have the support of your Program Director, the Marlboro College Graduate Center Academic Director and a Senior Staff / Educational Technology Specialist.
